Dry Creek is an AVA (American Viticultural Area) in Sonoma County that offers various expressions of terroir and climate throughout its region. One of the joys of exploring Dry Creek is the diversity of wine varieties to sample. Bella Vineyards & Wine Caves offers this diversity through its several wine brands. Bella is probably best known and highly rated for their Red Zinfandel from their various vineyards. Bella features some unique “experiences” on their property….very cozy adventures compared to the area’s mega-wineries. In October this past Fall, we explored their wines and vistas along with our host, Andrew McPherson, Director of Sales, during the middle of 2023 harvest. Grab a seat in a Bella Adirondack chair and enjoy our tour.
Wine Enthusiast
"Rich, almost jammy fruit flavors and nicely layered oak spices like cinnamon and vanilla make a great combination in this full-bodied, dense and yet velvety-feeling wine. It is generous, deep and long on the finish."

Bella Vineyard & Wine Cave Experiences and Tours
“Hike the Hill” with a private tour of the panoramic beauty of Lily Hill. From there you see sweeping views of the Dry Creek Valley followed by a tour of the wine caves, with a private table for your personal wine tasting. We hiked the hill, tasted grapes on the vine, and enjoyed the vista.
“Bella Tour and Immersive Winery Experience” - allows you to explore deep into the wine caves, explore the crush pad and fermenting wines, and sample the small-lot zins amongst the wine barrels.
“Pinzgauer Truck Private Group Experience” – hop aboard the vintage Pinzgauer truck and climb the red clay dirt paths with your private group of up to eight and taste limited-release wines among the vine-covered slopes of the Dry Creek Valley.
