I read that Bob Dylan listed Jimmy Buffett as being one of the best songwriters. Can’t argue with that. We’ve been on a summer-long RV adventure and spent time in a couple of the Camp Margaritaville RV resorts—among the best places we’ve stayed. The size and reach of his business empire is astounding!
Thank for mentioning Jimmy. Being a yacht Captain, he had such an influence on my owners and guest. They would step aboard, grab a cocktail from one of my crew, then ask if we had any Buffet aboard. Usually Cheeseburger in Paradise, Margarittaville, Fins, Fruitcakes, or Come Monday. Of course, we have them all. I've seen him six time since leaving the Coast Guard in 1985. The "parking lot rallies" were often as much fun as the concerts. To ALL the Parrotheads reading, "Fins Up!"
